Billing FAQ & Resources

This page will answer frequently-asked billing questions for Maven WebChat.

Topics include subscriptions, payments and cancelling an account. 

Subscriptions 

Selecting a subscription 

In the WebConsole, click the ⚙️Settings button in the sidebar, then click Billing & Subscription.

Click Subscribe Now.

You will be taken to a page called Approve Subscription in your Shopify dashboard. 

Click Approve.

Your subscription is activated and renews every 30 days. 

You will receive an email confirming that your subscription has been activated. 

Viewing your subscription

You can view your subscription in two places: in the WebConsole Admin Settings and in your Shopify Billing Page in Shopify Admin Settings. 

Payments

Adding and changing your payment method 

In the WebConsole, click the ⚙️Settings button in the sidebar, then select Billing & Subscription.

To view your billing details or change your payment method, click on View Billing Details in Shopify. 

You will be taken to your Shopify Billing Page in Shopify Admin Settings. 

You can view your payment method, update/add new credit card details and view your Maven WebChat subscription and billing cycle. If you make any changes, click Save

Cancelling an Account 

Cancel your subscription

To cancel your monthly subscription plan, go to your Shopify dashboard. 

Click Settings.

Click Apps and Sales Channels. 

Click Remove for Maven WebChat.

Your subscription will automatically be cancelled once removing the app. 

You will receive a an email confirming that your subscription has been cancelled. 

Tips on cancelling your subscription/account

If you cancel in the middle of a billing cycle, you can continue to use the account until your billing cycle ends. After your billing cycle ends, the cancellation takes effect.

To cancel a trial account, we recommend waiting until the trial has ended.
